The new NHL season has begun and some teams have played as many as four games already.  With such a small sample size, we have already spotted some surprises early in the campaign.  The bulk of the show revolves around a Bleacher Report story by Lyle Richardson (with some help) regarding a way too early 2023 mock draft.  We dive into the first 20 picks, and identify some surprises, some too high picks, some too low and a lack of defensemen.  We have results of two Twitter polls, one around the strongest defense in the East and another regarding Patrick Kane staying in Chicago in a chase for the all time points lead for the Blackhawks.  We touch on the Ian Cole investigation and a quick update on Brad Marchand.  Everyone enjoy the new season, and give us a listen.  Let us know what you think and Enjoy the Show!
