Due to the fact that there is no hockey on television, we at Two Man Forecheck offer a wide variety of subject matter this week that spans Toronto once again messing up their salary cap issues, the New Jersey Devils throwing a party for P.K. Subban and the Summer Showcase. Toronto has still not signed its best player yet they appear to be taking on salary, something which may adversely affect the team's ability to sign Mitch Marner. The New Jersey Devils welcomed Subban to the team with a blowout celebration disguised as a press conference where one of the gifts was a Ric Flair styled robe with feathers galore. We talk about his affect on the team and should he be captain. We delve into the World Junior Summer Showcase and the variety appearing on the rosters of the countries involved. We discuss Trent Frederic and whether he is a forgone conclusion to make the Bruins and finally we talk about the players that have gone through arbitration and those that have signed or are still waiting their turn. As always, please tell us what you think and...Enjoy the Show!

Jeff Gorton has now given almost 25 percent of the salary cap to two players. How do Ranger fans feel about this? Mike and Chris created teams consisting only of players from the 2013 draft using today's cap number as a guide. There was some overlap, but there are a few differences. Let us know what you think. We also had our largest voter turnout ever for a Twitter Poll, 181 votes for the GM who has done the best job this off season. Gorton was the big winner with 52 percent, but is he really the big winner? We discuss. Tell us what you think and Enjoy the Show!

What is taking so long? The Islanders set a pretty high mark with their playoff run last season, but can they meet the lofty expectations that come with such a finish? Don Sweeney, GM of the Boston Bruins has drawn a line in the sand stating that he is targeting December 1st when it comes to Brandon Carlo and Charlie McAvoy. Can the Bruins afford to wait that long to sign their young, talented defensemen? The Twitter Poll results are up and it appears that everyone who voted had the right idea. Marner took 32 percent, Laine 26%, Point 24% and McAvoy 18%. Finally, we talk about a laughable trade posted on CapFriendly between the Buffalo Sabres and Vegas Golden Knights. Let us know how you feel and if you would make the trade, but most importantly...Enjoy the Show!

We are now one week into NHL Free Agency and there have been many moves, but there are still some players available. More importantly are the RFAs that have not been signed by their current clubs. Who would you throw an offer sheet at for the upcoming campaign? That is the topic of our latest Twitter Poll. Last week's poll results are not suprising as 49 percent of you chose the Edmonton Oilers to make the worst moves during free agency. We chose our three teams to not have as good a season this upcoming year compared to last year and we only had one overlap between us. We break down some RFAs that have not been signed and some of the teams that have made vast improvements of this time with trades, the draft and free agents. Give us a listen and let us know what you think, but as always...Enjoy the Show!
